In case the group is not full, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour.

Krasnaya Polyana is located in the mountains, in 39 km from the coast of the Black Sea, in Adler City District of Sochi. A year-round mountain resort “Krasnaya Polyana” consists of two settlements: Krasnaya Polyana and Esto-Sadok, as well as the slopes, which are situated a little further in the mountains. The resort is named after the bigger settlement. According to the legend, the name "Krasnaya Polyana" was given by the Greek settlers in 1878 because of the thick overgrowth of fern, the leaves of which had a reddish brown color in fall.
“Gorky Gorod” is a resort complex located in the center of Krasnaya Polyana which was used as the Olympic Media Village during the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. One of the features of this complex is division into ‘‘Lower City’’ (540 meters above sea level) and the ‘‘Upper Town’’ (960 meters above sea level). ‘‘Lower City’’ is the center of the resort. Here are the main hotels, shopping center with cinema, night clubs and numerous cafes and restaurants. The heart of ‘‘Gorky Gorod’’ is its sports-tourist complex ‘‘Mountain Carousel’’. The maximum height – 2200 meters above sea level.

The first object in the program is the St. George-Trinity Woman’s Monastery. It lies on the road towards Krasnaya Polyana, deep within the mountains. During an excursion of the monastery, you can learn many interesting things about the history of Orthodoxy, while seeing unique icons, some of which were created in the 19th century. The temple of the monastery keeps relics of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, Saints of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and a fragment of the relics of St. Panteleimon the Healer.
Note: Women are allowed with covered heads and knees. It is recommended to have a quiet style of dress and closed shoes.
Then the group will go to the Yew-and-Boxwood Tree Grove, a monument to ancient nature, situated on the eastern slope of the Akhun Mountain, 2.5km from the Black Sea coast. The Yew-and-Boxwood Tree Grove is a unique type of natural museum, a repository of relict plants that have remained here from prehistoric times almost in their original form (about 30 million years ago).
Today it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Further on, the group will go to the Mountain Akhun. Having conquered the height of 30.5 meters, you will find yourself at exactly 700 meters above the sea level and you will be able to enjoy its panoramic views from the Caucasus Mountains to Dagomys. There is a lookout tower on the Bolshoy Akhun Mountain, built in 1936 according to a project designed by S. I. Vorobyev. The tower has a height of 30.5 metres. It is constructed from hewn white limestone in a Roman style and took 10 months to build.
Finally, the group will visit Stalin’s dacha. It was built in 1937 was and has remained one of the most popular sites in Sochi. The house is located at the top of the mountain range between the Matsesta valley and the Agurskoye Canyon. The duration of Stalin’s rule has occupied a significant part of Russian history, which is why his dacha has been preserved. The dacha’s outer decorations and the interior have been preserved in their original form and have not been altered.
